Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Verg mobile application ("the App") operated by Verg ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using Verg, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Verg is a journaling companion app designed to help you develop a consistent writing practice. The App provides:
Free Trial: We may offer a free trial period for premium features. At the end of the trial, you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Subscription Plans: Verg offers weekly and yearly subscription options. Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment will be charged upon confirmation of purchase.
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Verg and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your journal content and photos remain your property. We do not claim any ownership over content you create.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verg shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
